• In this new version you are going to find the following new features:
  • Skinning system for the toolbar: If you don't like the look of our Toolbar, why not make your own. We're introducing a simple skinning system already bundled with some skins. We promise that this kind of facelift won't hurt at all.
  • Simple menu: Now, if you really don't like the toolbar and prefer the old Plus! approach, we are introducing a simple menu located on the title bar of the active Skype window (Look for the Plus! icon directly on the Skype UI). The tray icon is now also populated with the Plus! functionalities so you can fire off some Winks to your boss out of nowhere or discretely record a conversation.
  • Share YouTube and local video through your conversation: Now you can watch your favorite YouTube video in real time within a video conversation and comment on it. You can be sure that everybody is watching the same thing at the same time (Kitty cat and funny dog videos not included).
  • Transparency effect for all windows (yeah even the Skype windows and the video conversation): Now you can give the jellyfish look to all your video chatting buddies.
  • Send Winks to iPhones, iPad, Android phones, tablets: Actually you can embed Winks into a video conversation so it can been seen and heard by any Skype ready devices. We still don't have an iPhone or Android version of Plus!, but that's a good start.
  • Video Overlays: You can still put an image or your avatar in the video conversation, but now we bundled many ready to go overlays for those of us too lazy to make our own. We've also created a dialog just for the overlay features.
  • Play back old Winks from your chat history for users without Plus!: We've changed the way Plus! is promoted to users without Plus!. Instead of showing you only a download link to our software when you received a Wink, we now let these users playback the Winks on the product download page. So, if you really don't want our product you can still see the Winks that a Plus! user just sent you. Perhaps over time, this user will change his mind and join the Plus! community. We're sure they'll do it: We are so adorable and fuzzy.
